These seed come primarily from 1 highly productive Missouri walnut with large nuts. I filled about 5 55gal steel drums from this tree alone. This tree is in full sun at the edge of a fertilized field so this yield is somewhat expected, but nevertheless remarkable. Walnut is one of the most expensive woods and an underappreciated native tree Nut quality is excellent, preferred to pecans in derby pies and not near as susceptible to squirrels as pecans.
