White oaks have been largely eliminated in the wild due to their excellent properties for barrel making giving oaked whiskey it’s characteristic flavor.

Historically white oak acorns were a staple in native diets with lower tannin levels than red oaks

We have two offerings, a large seeded oak from Missouri and a small seeded Kentucky oak
