Kentucky Garlic

This is true garlic seed, which is mostly a novelty unless you’re a serious garlic breeder. I’m hoping to have bulbs available in limited quantities next year.

This garlic originated from Calloway co Kentucky where it has been grown for generations of I believe Scottish immigrants. It’s an extremely rugged plant able to withstand complete and utter neglect for decades. It’s survivability is similar to the native weedy garlic. Athough it isn’t weedy itself, it can survive repeated mowing and grow in tall grass.

The bulbs, while not the largest are respectably productive and the flavor is comparable to any culinary garlic
