Cabbage, Late Flat Dutch

$3.00

A good green cabbage. We usually grow no spray without netting which is a tall task in this part of the world and get best results with this variety.

Is it worth trying? I don’t know but some years it works out and we make gallons of sourkraut and other years it doesn’t. You’re guaranteed to get a few leaves at least even if the head doesn’t develop from insects and heat

Pictured are the small kinds of heads you can get organically without netting/sprays

Chlinese cabbages usually do better

Description

1pkt ~ 30 seeds

Commercial Seed NOT produced by Flyover Seeds

You’ll do best to start these indoors because our continental climate has a short spring before the hot weather kicks in and transplants sustain bug damage better.

A cold frame or insect netting/sprays is recommended but not strictly necessary most years
