Artemisia absinthium

The eponym of common ragweed Ambrosia artemisifolia, and no surprise why. The leaves are delicately lacy and I’ve seen children mistake the two but wormwood is definitely more desirable and a lovely blue color. As an aside ambrosia meaning food of the gods is a bizarre name for ragweed unless maybe Linnaeus worshipped rabbits

absinthium hence the source of absinthe, a controversial spirit flavored with this plant

The plant is fragrant in a perfumey way and intensely bitter, so bitter it might be antiparasitic, a wormwood
